Lesson Sponsorship Opportunities

A Sponsored Rider is a youth participant who receives support through the Silver Stirrup Foundation to take part in structured equestrian programming. Sponsored Riders receive regular riding lessons, horsemanship education, and hands-on experience with horses in a safe and supportive environment. The program may also include educational field trips, eligibility to participate in tournaments or competitions, and access to camps or special events when available. Together, these experiences provide consistent instruction, skill development, and personal growth while helping remove financial barriers that may otherwise limit a student’s ability to participate.

For many young people, time with horses is more than a lesson — it’s a place of belonging, confidence, and growth. Unfortunately, the cost of riding lessons and equestrian programs can place these opportunities out of reach for families who want more for their children but lack the financial means. Without sponsorship, many motivated youth would never have the chance to step into the arena.
