The Silver Stirrup Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to giving individuals the opportunity to experience and thrive in the world of horseback riding. We work alongside potential sponsors to provide candidates with equestrian lessons and competition entries - all at an affordable price. To make it happen, we rely on both individuals and organizations who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those looking to discover more about what being around horses can do for them. The Silver Stirrup Foundation 501.c.3 was created to provide riding opportunities to individuals who may otherwise have none, and our program offers exactly that: sponsorship at various levels to help riders pursue their equestrian dreams with confidence. Our in-house tournaments and riding lessons are the perfect entryway into the world of competitive riding for all our candidates alike, regardless of experience level. For those more advanced riders, the Academy Program is available for their continued education; in addition, we offer a great financial assistance system for those furthering their studies at the Performance level and competing at National competitions. Because of this, no one will be excluded from living out an incredible horse-riding dream!
About Our Candidates
The Silver Stirrup Foundation is proud to welcome an incredible group of candidates who are passionate about equestrianism. These candidiates come from all walks of life, and they each have their own unique story and journey that led them to this wonderful opportunity. From young kids to ambitious adults, these equestrians come to the Foundation so they can explore their love of horseback riding, even if they don't have the means to do so otherwise. The Silver Stirrup Foundation allows them to develop their skills, learn important lessons and make new friends – all while gaining new perspectives on the sport of equestrianism.
